From enquiry to your first container: the order process

Buyer guide

Sourcing a power-wheelchair line — OEM, ODM or stock — follows a predictable path. Here's what to expect, step by step.

Step 1 — Enquiry & quote

Tell the supplier your models, volumes, market and branding scope. You get back a quote, MOQs and lead time. With Wanderoll, ask for the line sheet and certificates at this stage too.

Step 2 — Samples & sign-off

Before tooling or bulk, you approve a sample — branded (OEM) or to-spec (ODM). This is where you check fit, finish and your branding before committing.

Step 3 — Branding & documents

Artwork, retail packaging, user manuals and CE / EU MDR / ISO documentation under your brand are prepared and approved.

Step 4 — Production & QC

The order is manufactured and function-tested on the certified line, with pre-shipment inspection. Ask for inspection documentation or a video.

Step 5 — Inspection & shipping

Final QC, then export cartoned and shipped by sea or air. Lithium batteries ship under UN38.3; your forwarder clears customs with the document pack.

Step 6 — Reorder & stock

Repeat orders run faster; stock programmes smooth lead times for forecast demand.
